This role is uniquely positioned to lead both product and marketing efforts for oncology, ensuring that Viz.ai’s solutions align with market needs, drive clinical value, and gain rapid adoption in the oncology space.
About the Role
As part of Viz.ai’s continued growth in oncology, we are seeking a dynamic Senior Manager / Associate Director, Product & Marketing – Oncology to lead the strategy, development, and commercialization of our Oncology AI-powered Care Coordination Solution.
This is a dual leadership role, balancing product management and commercialization, with responsibilities spanning:
- Defining and executing the product roadmap in partnership with inbound product management and product design teams.
- Owning the go-to-market strategy, sales enablement, and marketing execution to drive adoption and revenue growth.
- Overseeing key partnerships that support product adoption through the patient journey and clinical validation efforts at a strategic level to strengthen product positioning.
Over time and based on business needs, this role will onboard and lead both product and marketing managers focused on oncology solutions. They will partner closely with the Oncology Care Pathway leader to deliver on product success and value demonstration needs.
The ideal candidate will be a cross-functional leader, skilled in both bringing AI-powered healthcare products to market and ensuring long-term commercial success.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Development
- Own the product strategy for oncology, ensuring it aligns with Viz.ai’s mission, growth objectives, and customer needs.
- Work closely with inbound product management, UX, engineering, and clinical teams to define, prioritize, and execute a data-driven roadmap.
- Develop AI-driven solutions that support oncology patient management, guidelines based treatment selection, and clinical workflow optimization.
- Ensure seamless EHR integration with partner hospitals, using FHIR, HL7, and interoperability standards to streamline workflows and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Leverage AI and predictive analytics to identify high-risk patients, optimize follow-up care, and improve adherence to evidence-based treatment pathways.
- Oversee key partnerships and clinical validation efforts, working with healthcare providers, life sciences companies, and research institutions.
Go-to-Market & Marketing Leadership
- Lead the commercialization strategy for oncology, ensuring strong product positioning and adoption.
- Develop compelling product narratives, working closely with marketing, clinical, and sales teams to translate technical features into customer-centric benefits.
- Own and refine sales enablement materials, including training content, product demos, and competitive positioning documents.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews, refining product-market fit and uncovering new growth opportunities.
- Oversee oncology-focused demand generation, thought leadership content, and digital marketing efforts in collaboration with marketing leadership.
- Represent Viz.ai at industry conferences, advisory boards, and customer meetings, establishing our thought leadership in oncology AI solutions.
- Over time, onboard and mentor product and marketing managers focused on oncology solutions, ensuring a strong team foundation.

What We’re Looking For:
- 7+ years of experience in oncology, digital health, AI-driven healthcare solutions, or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, marketing, and commercialization of AI-driven or enterprise SaaS healthcare solutions.
- Deep expertise in oncology patient management, care coordination, and AI-powered clinical decision support.
- Experience leading product and marketing initiatives, collaborating closely with inbound product management, UX, and commercial, and operations teams.
- Proven track record of launching and scaling healthcare technology products, particularly those involving clinical AI, EHR integration, and workflow automation.
- Understanding of clinical trial matching, tumor board coordination, and AI-driven decision support for oncology.
- Familiarity with EHR integration (FHIR, HL7), NLP technology, and healthcare interoperability standards.
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence internal and external leaders.
- Ability to travel up to 35% for customer visits, industry conferences, and strategic meetings.
- Ability to work flexible hours to successfully collaborate with international R&D teams and accommodate varying schedules.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
Salary Range: $160,000 - $200,000
Total Compensation includes base salary, bonus and equity
