About the Role
Rippling is seeking a Risk Operations and Process Management Specialist to join our Risk Operations team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in optimizing our operational efficiency, enhancing our risk management processes, and driving continuous improvement across the department. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing operational metrics and dashboards, leveraging data insights to identify and implement process and system enhancements, and championing governance processes within Risk Operations.
This role requires a blend of analytical prowess, a keen eye for operational bottlenecks, and a strong background in risk and compliance operations. What You Will Do
Manage and oversee key operational metrics, dashboards, and reporting to provide real-time insights into departmental performance and efficiency.
Utilize data analysis to identify trends, root causes of inefficiencies, and opportunities for process and system improvements within risk operations.
Proactively identify, analyze, and recommend process improvement initiatives, developing clear, actionable plans for implementation.
Drive the adoption of best practices and process standardization across various risk operational functions, including fraud, compliance, and KYC.
Manage the governance processes for the Risk Operations department, ensuring adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Collaborate cross- functionally with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and other teams to implement system enhancements and streamline workflows.
Develop and maintain documentation for operational processes, policies, and procedures, ensuring they are current, accurate, and easily accessible.

Support training initiatives related to new processes, tools, and system changes to ensure smooth adoption and compliance.
What You Will Need
4+ years of experience in risk operations, business process management, or a related field, with a strong focus on process improvement and operational efficiency.
Demonstrated experience in Risk / Compliance Operations Management, and Business Process Management.
Strong knowledge and practical experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, BPMN) and agile framework.
Proven ability to manage and analyze operational metrics, build dashboards, and derive actionable insights from complex data sets.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues and propose effective solutions to diverse stakeholders.
Experience in managing governance structures and ensuring adherence to departmental standards and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency with data analysis tools and process mapping software is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
