About The Role
Rippling’s Product team ensures that we build the right things for the right stakeholders, as quickly as possible. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall success of Rippling Payroll, arguably our most bread-and-butter product suite. You’ll collaborate with our product, design, engineering, legal, compliance, sales, and customer experience teams to create a world-class payroll system. By working with experts across various functions, you’ll ensure that Rippling Payroll becomes the market-defining payment solution for businesses all over the world.
The Rippling Payroll Suite includes our 100% natively-built payroll systems in the US, Canada, Australia, the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, India, Singapore, and more under construction. (The complexity is breathtaking — and fun!) It also includes our Employer of Record (EOR) solutions and global contractor payments. The products in this suite run on our unified global payments rails.
What You'll Do
- Own the product vision, roadmap and execution for the Rippling Payroll Suite, ensuring alignment with company objectives and customer needs.
- Build, scale, and manage product teams by providing strategic guidance, fostering collaboration, and cultivating a culture of high performance and accountability.
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team, including product managers, designers and engineers to deliver on-time, high-quality product releases.
- Gain a deep understanding of legal, compliance, and regulatory requirements in multiple jurisdictions, ensuring Rippling Payroll meets all operational and legal standards.
- Collaborate with extended teams, including operations, legal, and compliance, to drive execution and ensure we’re shipping successful products with velocity.
- Stay close to the data – build a deep understanding of what’s required to hit our ambitious goals.
- Set the pace and expectations for product execution, fostering a sense of urgency while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Drive new product launches and ongoing enhancements, ensuring alignment with sales, support, and implementation teams to deliver seamless customer experiences.
What You'll Need
- Proven leadership experience in managing and scaling product teams, with a track record of success in leading teams to deliver complex products in a fast-paced environment.
- A deep understanding of the fintech space, with hands-on experience building and shipping financial products that comply with complex legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong ability to motivate and inspire teams, setting clear goals, defining expectations, and empowering teams to take ownership of outcomes.
- A data-driven mindset, leveraging insights to make decisions, set priorities, and track progress.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to influence and align a diverse set of stakeholders across the organization.
- A relentless focus on customer-centricity, ensuring that all product decisions are driven by a deep understanding of customer needs and feedback.
- Exceptional critical thinking, prioritization, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to navigate ambiguity and execute on complex, multifaceted product initiatives.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing competing priorities and consistently delivering results under tight timelines.
