About the role
Product Marketing brings Rippling closer to our customers. As the Senior Product Marketing Manager for IT you’ll help build our IT business by understanding what problems IT administrators face and translate it into leading product innovation and supporting sales and marketing strategies.
We’ll look to you for expertise on IT buyers and how to design strategies to reach and connect with them. You will gather and analyze customer and market research to ensure we are meeting customers where they are. And you’ll help product managers design and launch leading solutions that help lean IT teams securely and efficiently manage their company’s technology.
We’d love to talk to you if you have a passion for building for customers, a knack for understanding how products work, and marketing creativity and resourcefulness.
What you will do
- Become a product evangelist for our IT solutions
- Define the go-to-market strategy for new launches.
- Develop GTM fundamentals, including messaging, positioning, personas, and more,
- Conduct deep customer research and synthesize insights about our products, target audiences, personas, and differentiation vs competitors
- Educate our sales teams and create sales tools / collateral to help them win
- Design and run marketing in partnership with growth and demand gen teammates
What you will need
- 4+ years of experience in product marketing, technical product marketing
- Experience in SaaS tech businesses, preferably in the IT technology/security space
- Proven ability to translate customer and market insights into crisp GTM fundamentals
- You love to dive deep into products. You know the ins and outs of the product as well as product managers and engineers do..
- You pride yourself in making the impossible possible. You are resourceful, have a bias towards action, and get energy juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- You are results-oriented and evidence-driven. You speak the truth even when it's inconvenient
- Outstanding communication skills. You clearly tell a story without resorting to jargon.
- You are a quick learner. You pick up context rapidly and easily adapt to new challenges.
