About the role

The Solutions Consulting team lives within the Sales organization and supports sales efforts across the company. This team is made up of several types of subject matter experts that support our prospects and customers during their evaluation of Rippling’s services.

The Director of Solutions Consulting will:

  • Identify, develop and mentor an expanding management team and their respective teams of individual contributors
  • Drive the strategy for their portion of the Solutions Consulting organization
  • Collaborate with other members of the sales leadership team to understand the needs of the business
  • Partner with product teams to drive roadmap and feature development in their area of the business
  • Manage day to day operations, handling escalations and resolving issues
  • Partner with the Recruiting team to source and interview candidates
  • Review internal processes and identify areas for improvement

About You

  • 8+ years of experience in a Sales Engineer/Solutions Consulting role for a SaaS business
  • 4+ years experience managing managers and a team of 20+ individual contributors
  • Refined prioritization and time management skills
  • Comfortable sourcing and analyzing data from systems like Salesforce and Tableau
  • Impeccable attention to detail and a keen ability to solve complex, interdependent problems
  • Well versed in creating an actionable strategy; from identifying a need to designing a process to implementing the solution in order to drive consistent customer experiences across a large customer base
  • A proven track record of scaling rapidly in a fast paced company
