Product Lead, Global Platform
About The Role
The product team owns Rippling’s product direction, defining what to build in order to solve customer problems in a way that allows them to succeed. We do this by intimately understanding the market, our customers, and the perspectives of our key stakeholders and synthesizing that into a product that is effective, efficient, and easy to use.
In this role, you will extend our platform capabilities to support global workforces. Rippling's platform facilitates a completely localized, locally-compliant product. You will work closely with the engineering, design, and localization team to build global platform products, leveraging the partnership of external localization vendors. You'll work with legal & compliance teams to drive compliant data governance across the platform. You'll work with other product teams, along with sales, implementation, & customer support in order to provide a best-in-class global platform for Rippling products and our customers.
What You'll Do:
You will extend our language translation platform to seamlessly and accurately initiate translations for new content across a growing set of supported languages.
You will drive processes to measure & improve translation quality for an exceptional user experience across the globe.
You will lead the design and development of modular platform components for Rippling customers to provide and maintain their own translations for company-specific content like Departments, Levels, Titles, and Custom Fields.
You will define the product requirements and execution for how Rippling's product will support double-byte and right-to-left (RTL) languages.
You will drive our product strategy and build features for a streamlined response to legal, regulation, compliance, and privacy-related inquiries and requests.
You will bring together insights from customer and regulatory requirements to inform data governance enforcement and features.
You’ll be eager to roll up your sleeves and dig into the technical details while obsessing over a simple, intuitive customer experience.
You’ll work cross-functionally with virtually every team – across product, engineering, design, legal, marketing, and customer-facing functions – to design an extensible system that can meet the evolving needs of Rippling product teams and customers.
7+ years of Product Management experience
Experience leading a product through internationalization & localization
Self-starter with a bias towards action and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Deep technical, analytical, and problem solving skills
Exceptional interpersonal communication, relationship management & organizational skills
Strong ability to motivate and inspire people to do their best work
