Global Payment Partnerships Manager

Primarily responsible for initiating, implementing, and managing Rippling's payments partnerships with payment processors, currency exchange platforms, and local banks, with a focus on product integration, funds flow, and partner management.
Develop and execute a payment partnerships program that expands Rippling’s footprint in global markets, specifically for the Global payroll and Employee of Record (EOR) products, while managing against fast-paced product launch timelines and unblocking internal teams to achieve desired business objectives.
Develop and execute the long-term engagement strategy with payments partners in alignment with the Rippling product and geographic strategy; act as primary relationship manager for various global partners and own the project management for related workstreams.
Develop subject matter expertise on payments partnership capabilities including funds flow capabilities, risks and operational challenges with partners, and long-term product opportunities in the context of Rippling's product areas.
Drive cross-functional alignment across teams including Product, Engineering, Legal, Operations, Risk, Sales, Marketing, Finance and others to get things done - whether that be market expansion, process improvement or optimization to drive growth in our business.
Own key payment metrics for your markets and derive actionable insights into improving the experience for customers, improving operational performance, and ensuring cost efficiency and revenue maximization.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. Advanced degree is a plus.
8 to 10+ years of proven, relevant experience managing payment partners at a multinational corporation, corporate or investment bank, financial services firm, or similar experience at a fintech company (startup or later stage).
Prior industry experience in business development, partner management, or financial operations with financial institutions is a plus
Deep knowledge of domestic and international payment methods and value chain associated with the global payments industry
An ability to think creatively and thrive in a dynamic, but often ambiguous environment
Self-starter with excellent time management skills
Excellent communication skills with demonstrated experience working with senior leadership
Organized, attentive to detail, and intellectually curious
