Director of Brand Marketing
At Rippling, Marketing isn’t window dressing. We’re tied directly to revenue and drive real results. That power is exciting, but it comes with pressure, too. As our first Integrated Marketer, you’ll work across the entire Marketing team to bring full-funnel campaigns to life. That includes advertising, events, content, media buying and strategy, sponsorships, and customer marketing. From day one, you’ll be responsible for managing a $XM budget and hiring a team of three. Our product and brand identity are best in class. It’s up to you to make Rippling a household name.
Build and manage Brand Advertising, Sponsorships, Events, Content, Social, and Customer Marketing
Own the annual marketing activation plan and liaison with Marketing and Product teams to shape OKR planning
Create and activate a targeted media plan across all traditional advertising channels and uncover new, unexpected channels
Codify buyer personas, audience segmentation, and a full-funnel messaging matrix
Write cross-functional briefs and set clear criteria for evaluating the work
Identify and manage high-potential sponsorships and partnerships
Decide what messages to deliver through which channels and when
Regularly audit in-market work and assess against our brand principles and performance metrics
Organize and own our complex product architecture and naming
Gather and share competitive and market insights
Manage and deploy an $XM budget
Drive and ship full multi-channel campaigns
At least 10 years of experience in Brand Strategy or Integrated Marketing with in-depth knowledge of media planning
Ability to synthesize complex concepts in pithy and insightful ways
Experience in media planning and agency management
Ability to drive executive alignment
Familiarity working with creative teams, providing clear briefs and actionable feedback
Expertise in brand awareness and consideration testing (quant and qual)
Experience facilitating focus groups and customer feedback sessions

All Tiers 1: $176,000 - $247,000/year
A variety of factors are considered when determining someone’s compensation–including a candidate’s professional background, experience, and location. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above.
