About the Role:

In this Seattle-based role, you will serve as a Group Product Manager, leading a team of Product Managers and overseeing additional supporting roles, to develop and scale innovative financial solutions that complement remittances, helping Remitly redefine the future of global financial services.

Our team is customer centric, data-driven and result-oriented, and you will play a vital role in leading and mentoring them at every stage of the product life cycle delivering value that aligns with Remitly's mission.

You Will:

  • Leadership & Team Development: Manage, mentor and develop a high-performing team of Product Managers and other supporting roles, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Customer Advocacy & Research: Be a customer advocate; work with the team to use customer feedback, data analysis and market research to identify customer pain points and opportunities for innovative solutions.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution
  • Work with the product managers to define the roadmap in your domain, ensuring alignment with Remitly's.
  • Lead the product roadmap planning and prioritization process in collaboration with R&D and business stakeholders.
  • Engage with partners to understand customer and business needs to inform priorities, sequencing, and roadmap balancing delivery against development costs.
  • Set and manage team OKRs in partnership with PMs, business stakeholders and R&D teams.
  • Provide strategic direction and hands-on guidance to ensure successful execution of product initiatives.
  • Serve as a bridge between global and local teams to foster understanding and drive execution of shared goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Partner with engineering, design, and analytics teams to build scalable, impactful solutions, prioritizing speed to market while maintaining quality.
  • Collaborate with global product teams to align priorities and ensure seamless coordination across geographies.
  • Serve as a bridge between global and local teams to foster understanding and drive execution of shared goals, while also representing the entire global group strategy within the local office.

You Have:

  • 7+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years leading
  • Experience in customer facing role
  • Experience with launching and/or growing successful B2C products
  • Experience in fintech, financial services, or a related industry
  • Strong strategic and experience drawing relevant insights from ambiguous data, with a proven ability to translate opportunities into actionable roadmaps items.
  • Experience driving clarity and alignment across complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success in setting and accomplishing product OKRs, road-mapping, planning, and prioritization.
  • Experience working with engineering teams to navigate technical tradeoffs, balancing short-term outcomes with long-term impacts.
  • Ability to align teams, collaborate across stakeholders, and use written documentation to drive clarity and alignment
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams across multiple regions and time zones, fostering collaboration in a culturally diverse environment.
  • Willingness to travel internationally 2–4 times per year to engage with global teams, customers, and partners.

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $168,000-$210,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
