The Policy and Regulatory Affairs (PRA) program directly engages with global policymakers, regulators, and other third parties to educate and provide perspectives on our business, the future of remittances, and digital financial services.
The Program Coordinator, Policy and Regulatory Affairs will provide critical operational, administrative, and logistical support to the PRA program. Reporting directly to the Head of Policy and Regulatory Affairs, you will ensure the smooth execution of the program's daily activities, internal processes, and external engagements.
This role is based in the greater Washington, DC region and may require occasional domestic and international travel.
You Will:
- Provide strategic coordination to the Head of PRA and Head of EMEA & APAC by managing logistics and preparing essential briefing materials for their high-level engagements and meetings.
- Assist the Program Manager for PRA with internal programmatic support and execution of operational tasks.
- Provide operational and administrative support for PRA's advocacy, public policy work, budget, and invoice management processes.
- Administer PRA's external consultants, advisors, and trade association memberships, ensuring deliverables are met.
- Enhance PRA's communications and reporting, including maintaining reporting mechanisms, tracking global policy developments, and summarizing updates through company-wide reports.
- Ensure completion of PRA's administrative needs, including document management, scheduling, travel planning, and lobbying disclosure filings.
You Have:
- 3+years of experience in an administrative, operational, or coordination role, in a public policy, government affairs, or regulated industry context.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to complete assigned tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work with internal company partners and external consultants.
- Interest in public policy, regulatory affairs, or financial services.
Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $88,000 - $100,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
