About the Role:
Remitly is significantly increasing our investment in building brand awareness as a way to be top of mind of our customers when they have a need to transfer money. As a Marketing Analyst in this area, reporting to Sr. Manager Marketing Analytics, you will drive analytical decisions for Remitly's brand marketing and upper funnel channels, including audio, print, TV, Out of Home and other offline channels.This includes measurement and reporting, designing and implementing incrementally tests and optimisation the ROI for the channels, contributing directly to growth in acquisition of customers in an efficient manner. You will also be a thought partner to your Marketing colleagues and collectively drive decisions that shape the roadmap of Remitly's brand awareness efforts.
This will be a hybrid role (2-3 days a week) based in our London office. #LI-Hybrid
You Will:
- Build and optimise a robust measurement framework for measuring ROI from brand and upper funnel investments and enabling strategic decisions. Provide ongoing campaign analysis and reporting using a variety of metrics and data sources to tell a coherent overall story.
- Design and implement reporting dashboards that track important metrics and performance trends, and provide actionable insights to marketing leadership.
- Partner closely with the Marketing team to design incrementality tests and execute analysis to generate actionable insights.
- Build measurement plans based on strategic imperatives, communication objectives and media strategies
- Proactively identify and interpret important drivers behind marketing and media performance and deliver insights to channel owners to improve the efficiency of spend and performance of media as aligned with our goals
You Have:
- 4+ years of experience in marketing analytics, experimentation and basic statistical techniques (including hypothesis testing, causal inference and regression analysis).
- Ability to represent complex information in easily understood visualizations (including Tableau).
- Expertise in SQL, R or Python, and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Periscope).
- Experience in building regular reports and dashboards to measure channel performance, support decisions on P&L management, find opportunities and performance trends while also helping analyze metric trends
- Ability to communicate clearly to executives, channel owners, partners, and influence strategic business decisions
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills; must be very comfortable with data analysis and driving decision making
- Biased for action: willing to build the first prototype, and continuously improve based on learnings.
- Possess a natural curiosity to dive into the details and have a strong analytical mindset.
