About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned Principal Technical Program manager for Remitly's innovative products team. This is a new initiative that spans across multiple teams in Remitly requiring cross functional, multi-team, strategic and execution alignment. You will drive this for both internal and external customers of the product. Being a 0->1 initiative, you will lead the way on setting this for success from technical, program and operational perspective.

You Will:

  • Lead the innovative products' development end to end from ideation to launch.
  • Work closely with architects, engineering, product, design and business leaders to ensure the successful completion of these programs.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Remitly, ensuring alignment on deliverables, roles, responsibilities, and project cadences.
  • Create prioritization tradeoffs and plans with appropriate milestones for advance planning and executive buy-in.
  • Manage dependencies and risks related to the program.
  • Keep partners and leaders informed of progress or changes to scope and project schedule
  • Monitor and analyze product performance, using data to drive continuous improvement and optimization
  • Define and report key results and performance metrics
  • Assess bottlenecks in work processes to streamline and simplify workflow

You Have:

  • Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field
  • 8+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 5+ years of working directly with multiple software engineering teams
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and driving projects to completion

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $176,000-$220,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
