We're a MoneyMovments team, building a Money Movement platform, capability which enables us to send money from our customers to their relatives, but also a platform which supports new products offered by Remitly, like Circle and Lending.

We set the standard for delivering well-tested, observable, documented, efficient, scalable, and resilient code on time
You'll set a long-term vision, and direct the team to make sound engineering decisions and appropriate tradeoffs between shipping code fast and making important technical investments for the future. This is a hybrid position (office location: Krakow).
You Will:
Take care of 5-8 engineers sized team
Participate in setting quarterly goals and definition of long-term roadmap for the team
Participate in technical discussions and design, aiming to align teams towards a common goal
Have a relationship and work arrangements with teams in the Krakow, Seattle and Israel that ensures transparency and autonomy
You Have:
Can-do attitude and client centricity mindset
6+ years of engineering experience
2+ years of experience managing a small engineering team, including hiring and training engineers up to the Senior level.
Experience defining and influencing technical designs and processes across a team
Experience working in a global team environment
Clear and objective writing and in-person communication
