About the Role:

As an engineer reporting to the engineering manager on Risk, you will help to define and build systems that analyze hundreds of thousands of transactions a day to look for regulatory and compliance risk. You will work across multiple products to help support launching exciting features by leveraging Risk platforms for new use cases.

You Will:

  • Collaborate with engineering and program leadership across legal, compliance, risk, and many others
  • Define the future vision of our compliance and reporting frameworks
  • Design reliable and observable systems that all of our regulatory and banking partners will rely on
  • Build high quality and scalable software

You Have:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant software development experience
  • Understanding of basic web development concepts, such as RESTful APIs, HTTP protocol, and database management.
  • Knowledge of software development principles, including version control, testing, and debugging.
  • Experience with a data warehouse like Snowflake, Redshift, or Spark
  • Experience deploying code in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $136,000-$170,000 In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
