At Remitly, we pride ourselves in being a consumer-centric and data-driven company. We maximize outputs from data, analyze trends and use insights gathered to influence our business operations and internal controls. The Data Analyst role sits in the Consumer Protection vertical within the Compliance organization and reports to the Head of Global Consumer Protection. You will support Program Managers in their daily work by analyzing customer complaint data, monitoring regulatory risks and other performance data using dashboards and other analytical tools. You will play a critical role in the monitoring data trends and other performance metrics, and developing reports and other data insights using multiple visualization and analytical tools. This is a hybrid role.
You Will:
Work with project managers to understand and maintain focus on their analytics needs, including critical metrics, and deliver relevant insights to relevant decision-makers
Analyze data to answer questions and provide insights to support regulatory compliance activities, with a focus on customer complaints.
Monitor data trends and KRIs and provide reports on a monthly cadance for audiences across Remitly's operational jursidictions.
Create rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis, with reporting components from multiple data sources
Develop data acquisition and integration logic, selecting an appropriate combination of methods and tools within the defined technology stack to ensure scalability and performance of the solution
Develop databases by acquiring data from primary and secondary sources, and build scripts to make the data evaluation process more flexible or scalable across datasets
Gather and analyze complaints data to support our second line of defense compliance oversight function
Draw insights from data and present the infromation in a clear manner using multiple analytical tools
You Have:
Three or more years of experience mining data as a data analyst
Analytics skills, including mining, evaluation, and visualization
Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentations
SQL skills, ability to maintain complex spreadsheets and models with experience using analytics tools such as Mode and Tableau
