We're searching for a Systems Administrator focused on Atlassian systems to join Remitly's IT team, reporting to our Senior Manager, Employee Productivity. You'll help build our Atlassian platforms to support agile processes to operate at scale, building a best in class tech stack and automations between systems to achieve it.
You'll accomplish this by partnering closely with the IT team and business stakeholders to drive decisions. Your important work will directly impact how we operate as a business to meet the needs of our customers and internal stakeholders.
You Will:
- Function as a subject matter expert (SME) through repeated successful collaboration with business teams.
- Create, manage all administrative functions associated with the Atlassian product suite including Jira Software Cloud, Confluence and Atlassian Analytics
- Accountable for standards around Jira UI Admin tasks like project creation, team/board creation, custom fields, custom field values, reports, workflows, issue types, screen schemes, permission schemes.
- Create technical documentation and conduct user-training and help-sessions for new and existing custom features and implementations.
- Responsible for improving efficiency by optimizing JIRA/Confluence setup and workflows, as well as identifying where functionality needs to improve to meet user requests.
- Role of a point of contact with Atlassian vendor, for any technical assistance as well as assist in new contracts and renewals etc.,
- Provide JIRA domain expertise in discussions regarding governance within JIRA.
- Expertise REST API, JQL, AQL, JIRA APIs and webhooks.
- Drive consistent use of Atlassian tools in alignment with guidelines across the organization.
- Establish & promote cross company partnerships to enable adoption and support growing our maturity.
You Have:
- 3+ years of Atlassian suite of products and applications development and administrative experience including JIRA, Confluence, Analytics, Assets, Product Data Manager tool, Automation, Script Runner etc.,
- Overall, 3+ years of experience in the Information Technology Field.
- Exposure to Project Management, Risk, SDLC, Agile, Financial Institution related activities, Regulatory requirements, and Security controls.
- Expertise REST API, JQL, JIRA APIs and webhooks
- Understanding and hands-on experience in Cloud computing environments, Databases, etc.
- Troubleshooting, Problem Solving, documentation, verbal, written communication skills.
