About the Role:

Our global People Team is looking for a Senior Program Manager, Corporate Learning & Development (L&D) to support the creation, delivery, and continuous improvement of Remitly's global onboarding program. You will be responsible for reimagining our global onboarding program and building foundational L&D programs and processes that help new hires accelerate their acculturation. You will partner closely with our global People Team and business leaders to ensure Remitly’s Onboarding journey and supporting programs are representative of our culture and based on the current needs of the business. This role is a hybrid role, based in Seattle, WA and you will report to our Director of Communication and Business Process.

You Will:

  • Set the vision, strategy, and direction for an end-to-end global onboarding journey that empowers and equips new hires to hit the ground running in their role.
  • Partner with global across the company (Business leaders, DEI, People Team) for design input and shared ownership.
  • Leverage a blended learning approach (in-person, virtual, self-paced, etc.) as a design tenet.
  • Customize content for local geo applicability and adoption.
  • Build a global onboarding program that reflects Remitly's Cultural Values and engages new hires in building connection and understanding Remitly's business and customers.
  • Plan, execute, and manage L&D programs and projects that support the onboarding and launch of new hires.
  • Use data and people analytics to measure impact and identify trends to continuously improve the new employee journey.
  • Coordinate with other teams (TA, People Ops, Facilities, IT, etc) for seamless onboarding logistics.
  • Facilitate new hire orientations and establish a pool of SME presenters

You Have:

  • 5+ years experience with L&D program design, delivery, and management.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, L&D, or similar work experience.
  • Led, managed, and ideally built global onboarding programs resulting in high new hire engagement and hiring manager quality ratings.
  • An understanding of adult learning principles and blended learning methodologies.
  • Experience building scalable and inclusive programs in a high-growth environment for a diverse global audience.
  • Proven data analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated organization and coordination skills.
  • Excellent facilitation skills; ideally ILT and vILT.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (e.g., WorkDay)
  • Experience partnering with and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • A look around corners mindset, think creatively, and employ a, ‘what got us here won't get us there’ mentality.

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $116,000-$140,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
