About the Role:

You are a creative and integral professional, steeped in Remitly's culture, aligned to our mission and Global Strategy. Excellent critical thinker, you manage to find simple and innovative solutions based on data and people's needs to eliminate frictions in different departments of the company. Strategic partner in the development of different employee morale booster projects.

Bias for action and owner with 5+ years' experience in marketing, logistics and/or management positions. You communicate and handle complex situations with ease. You are a strong advocate of Remitly and genuinely embody our Cultural Values as you deal with different people and challenges in your daily tasks. Will be a leader, advisor, advocate, catalyst for change, and institutional resource focused on infusing DEI into all programs and activities, tracking progress toward these goals, and communicating progress to an engaged community.

You Will:

Main Focus

  • Strategic Partnerships and Alliances.
  • Generate greater opportunities in the labor market. Supply and Demand of Philippine Talent for Specific Tech openings.
  • Partner with different departments such as People, Ops and Learning Success with Alliances for Continuous Learning and new professional development opportunities.
  • Employer Branding/ Communication/Meetings
  • Lead the Employer Branding Strategy
  • Organize and execute team logistics (meetings, agendas, all-hands, off-sites, team social events, etc.)
  • PR Initiatives
  • Culture Experience: Promote the Remitly culture by collaborating with business units and other functions, answering questions, requests or participating in projects, as needed.
  • Employee Experience -EAT (Employee Advisory Team). Coordinates with leader's the VOA/VOC action items to boost team engagement, morale and credibility of our organization.
  • Cultural Onboarding for new Corporate Roles. Keeping all leaders and teams feeling part of the same company.
  • Recognition Programs.
  • Employee Support Programs (Deaths, Sickness, natural disasters)
  • Bonding Activities for teams with low morale
  • ESG and DEI Initiatives
  • Support our Remitly culture, values and mission
  • Lead Site Bonding Activities such as, After Offices, Kick Off party, Sport Tournaments and all sorts of social activities.
  • Site Director Support:
  • Act as liaison for site director and Ops leaders by understanding priorities and roles within the global operation. (Example: OKR´s Support, Site Strategy)
  • Assist with ad hoc projects, communications, email management, and/or meeting materials (such as presentations, spreadsheets and documents) as requested.
  • Manage complex calendars and scheduling
  • Track key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items to drive projects to completion
  • Manage expense report coordination and submission
  • Handle confidential information with sensitivity and integrity
  • Works with different company areas such as Talent, People operations, facilities, IT and Finance on several company processes and policies. This could also involve corporate initiatives.
  • Assist in building and supporting initiatives that promote diversity, equity, inclusion and ESG by providing project and reporting support for our DEI & ESG program and initiatives under the direction of the DEI VP

You Have:

  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing, account management, and project management
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience with marketing campaign development, execution, and analysis.
  • Exceptional verbal (spoken and presentation) and written skills
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of initiative and attention to detail
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong background in events planning and events management, demonstrating their ability to orchestrate and execute successful events from conceptualization to completion
  • Expertise in creative design and direction to lead innovative projects
