About the Role:
Under the supervision of the Engineering Manager for New Initiatives, the SDE will work in modern Java and Go codebases, taking on challenging technical problems, while building the first generation of a new global financial product. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the US with manager approval.
Address evolving and regionally unique user problems.
Shape the culture, processes and technical foundation of your team.
Develop end to end features in partnership with other engineers.
Participate in the ideation, technical design, and grooming of the next generation of Lending with a data-driven and customer-centric viewpoint.
Focus on overall product quality and build.
Partner with Product Management, Design and other functions to build high-quality features for other users.
Explore data and use it to inform decisions.
Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field, and 2 years of experience building software products in a consumer or b2b setting;
Must have some experience in Java, C#, C++, Go, MySQL or Jenkins;
Must have some front-end experience working with React, React-Native, TypeScript or other web platforms.

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $116,710 - $167,480. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
