About the Role:

Director of Product Management, Global CS

We are looking for an outstanding candidate for the Director of Product Management, Global CS role at Remitly. The Director of Product Management will lead a team of Product Managers focused on improving the tools experience across multiple domains of Customer service, Compliance, Risk and Disbursement Partner operations. Our frontline associates use these tools to delight Customers across the world by resolving their issues quickly and with high accuracy. You will report into the VP Product Management for Global CS.

You will set the vision for the tool experience of our Global associates. Your team works with the case management platform leader to build the right user experience for the associate persona of different operations.

As the Director Product Management, you will guide the Product and Tech investment decisions for the associate tools. You will develop an understanding for the customer pain points, build a roadmap to address those opportunities and lead the team to implement the roadmap. You will partner closely with members of the executive team, peers, and stakeholders to drive product-led growth at Remitly and ensure synergies with Remitly's broader product strategy. You will be excellent at execution and driving significant momentum across the organization and will be accustomed to a model of fast and efficient iteration across multiple streams of work.

You Will:

  • Define associate tools product strategy, roadmap, and build a prioritization framework that captures relevant tradeoffs for the team while creating organizational alignment.

  • Evaluate and recommend enhancements to improve the associate tooling experience, backed by a solid business case, customer insights, competitor analysis and quantitative research.

  • Lead the delivery of an outstanding customer experience through development of detailed requirements, implementation plans and execution.

  • Be a customer advocate; use customer feedback, data analysis and market research to develop and deliver product features.

  • Work with designers to define interaction, design and UI requirements and priorities

  • Set up and analyze A/B tests and provide comprehensive test readouts with well thought through recommendations.

  • Understand the CS platform end to end, the APIs in our systems and the dependencies, and use this knowledge to create and improve our associate tools.

  • Manage team OKRs in partnership with our engineering team, and manage cross-teams alignment.

  • Engage with partners to understand customer and business needs to inform priorities, sequencing and roadmap.

  • Stay informed about state-of-the-art products and experiences in CS tools and FinTech. Share insights throughout the business.

You Have:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in product management with at least 5 years experience in the CS associate tooling space

  • 5+ years as a leader of product teams;

  • Experience motivating cross-functional teams; ideally across software engineering, UI design, and analytics, with an understanding of how things work within those domains.

  • Experience setting and implementing product strategy, road-mapping, and prioritization.

  • Experience working with engineers to make tough technical tradeoffs and you can sweat the details to understand the impacts of these tradeoffs and find a careful balance between short-term outcomes and long-term effects.

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $190,000-$237,500. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
