About the Role:
As an SDEII frontend software engineer, you will help shape the user experience for Remitly’s React Native-based iOS and Android app. You will be an important technical voice in ensuring we build the right set of features in a way that brings peace of mind to the many users who trust us every day with their money. This is a unique and substantial opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a growing team with large-scoped engineering problems and contribute to its technical and cultural foundations. You will be reporting to Engineering Manager for New Initiatives for this role.

Build delightful experiences: Work with the team to implement key mobile app features that solve for our users. You will deploy your expertise in coding, testing, and supportability to ship innovations with high quality and velocity.

A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience
3+ years of total experience building delightful mobile or web UX preferably used by millions of users
2+ years of frontend feature development in partnership with Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers
Experience creating and implementing plans for app rollout, experimentation, instrumentation, and supportability

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $116,000-$135,495. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
