To help us achieve our organizational intent, we’re hiring for Director, Business Finance, reporting to the Vice President, FP&A. This role will be based in Seattle or London, with global teams reporting into the role. It is expected that the role will lead a team of 5-7 individuals.

Key responsibilities:

• Inspire and develop the business finance team, building a culture of strong partnership and inclusion to drive optimal outcomes

• Partner effectively with and earn the trust of key executives and business stakeholders across the company

• Drive accurate reporting, analysis and insights on the financial performance of the business across all key areas impacting unit economics and margins: pricing, marketing, transaction expenses and customer service costs

• Lead the development of P&Ls relating to geo/regional, corridor level and new products on the foundations of unit economics principles and models

• Provide insights and recommendations for business performance improvements through the lens of financial data and key drivers of performance

• Develop standard financial reports that can be self-served by various business stakeholders to enable them to be make informed decisions

• Own the accuracy of forecasts and continuously improve models and processes to improve forecast accuracy

• Partner effectively across finance teams, Investor Relations, Accounting, Tax, business teams, etc, as needed across the company

• Develop finance talent and build a strong bench over time

• Champion use of data, metrics to enable teams to make informed ROI based decisions

• Role model how we aim for our organizational North Star

What are we looking for?

• Functional chops: 10-15 years proven finance/FP&A experience in a Fintech or technology company

• Successfully navigated fast growing, global customer first cultures

• Experience working in a matrix environment with multiple international sites

• Earned credibility given deep knowledge of business performance drivers, KPIs

• Ability to build and lead rhythm of the business inputs/outcomes: budgets, forecasting, planning, analysis, reporting to name a few

• Experience in building high performing teams with the ability to create the foundation for the future in a rapidly changing environment.

• Mastery of financial modeling and data analysis in excel.

• Excellent influencing, communication, and presentation skills at the executive level.

• Exceptional project management and organizational skills with proven experience leading complex, large-scale, global projects.

• Excellent troubleshooting skills with ability to drive solutions cross-functionally.
