About the Role:

The Senior Finance Manager, Customer Success reports to the Director of Finance and supports Remitly’s EVP of Customer & Culture. You will be responsible for managing the financial plan for our large, geographically diverse customer success organization. You will collaborate with senior leaders in customer success, risk, and internal tools development to shape our budget, measure success, and drive accountability against our targets. This is a highly visible role that will directly impact our annual budget and influence our allocation of capital. Your work will directly inform our growth expectations and shape company strategy.

You Will:

  • Partner with the Customer Success team to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes

  • Develop financial models and analysis to support business initiatives and strategies

  • Analyze customer service KPIs and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness

  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis for the Customer Success team

  • Partner across multiple geographies to support a smooth month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting

  • Collaborate with multiple teams, including fraud prevention, accounting, marketing, and internal tools to ensure alignment on financial objectives

  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting

  • Support how we manage a broad array of customer service investments, such as training and development, staffing, and tools, and define how these areas scale with our variable spend

  • Provide ad hoc analysis and support for special projects as needed

You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting or a related field

  • 6+ years of professional experience in a financial analysis or accounting role

  • Experience explaining data-based decisions to individual contributors and leadership

  • Experience in customer service, operations, or business team financial planning and reporting

  • Familiarity with customer service data landscape, including operational metrics and optimization frameworks

  • Experience using a finance planning tool (such as Adaptive Insights)

  • Passion for continuous improvement of processes and seek opportunities for automation

  • Passion for analyzing data to connect the dots to identify problems and implement solutions

  • Comfort with large volumes of complex data and presenting findings to senior management

  • Deep familiarity with data manipulation using tools such as MS Excel, Google Sheets to maintain complex spreadsheets and functions or macros

  • Intermediate or higher SQL (or equivalent) proficiency preferred

  • Familiarity with workforce planning, BCP/ load-balancing preferred

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $112,500-$135,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
