About the Role:

The Product Manager for messaging platforms will report to the Director Product, Content and Messaging platforms (CaMP). This team owns our internationalization platform, content management systems, localization program and messaging platforms which power all our Remitly products. Customers demand timely, quality updates about where their transfers are and your job is to enable that. Messaging platforms enables Remitly's product and customer success teams easily compose, deliver, test, trigger and monitor the performance of their outreach to customers regarding key updates on their accounts, transfers and more.

You will help us deliver peace of mind, build trust and drive customer satisfaction leading to growth at Remitly..

You Will:

  • Lead the delivery of full stack product features and initiatives in this space
  • Build platforms with and for engineering, product managers and content management teams.
  • Stay informed about messaging platforms, messaging products and experiences across the industry
  • Define the product roadmap and build a prioritization framework that captures relevant tradeoffs and create organizational alignment
  • Enhance the messaging experience for Remitly's customers with customer insights and competitor analysis
  • Lead delivery with your engineering team through detailed requirements and implementation plans
  • Be a customer advocate and partner to your stakeholder to identify opportunity areas
  • Understand the platform, the use cases and our systems and their dependencies to drive improvements

You Have:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in product management
  • Experience motivating cross-functional teams; across software engineering, other product teams, and analytics, with an understanding of how things work within those domains
  • Experience leading or working with platforms
  • Experience working with customer data and platform metrics to develop better customer experiences
  • Experience setting and implementing product strategy, road-mapping, and prioritization
  • Experience working with engineers to make tough technical tradeoffs and balance between short-term outcomes and long-term effects.
