The role: Polarr is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer primarily responsible for designing, implementing computer graphics features to enable new user experiences for Polarr Next (https://next.polarr.com), a next-gen batch RAW editing AI software, and true alternative to Adobe Lightroom, in the web browser.
Technologically, Polarr Next disrupts existing paradigm of pro-graphics software developments by using the latest web technology for large file I/O, AI, and user experiences. It's the first of its kind for its extreme file processing capability and responsive AI performances that elevate the playing field for web-based applications.
You will work in a tight knit, fast-moving team and directly report to the co-founder and CTO.
You Have:
- Worked in fast-paced startup deployment cycles.
- Managed complex, interactive web graphics codebases in the web.
- Built complex shaders, rendering pipelines using WebGPU, WebGL and / or WebAssembly.
- Optimized memory usage, frame rates for web applications.
- Deep knowledge in Javascript, TypeScript and / or React JS framework.
You Will:
- Improve graphics architecture, best practices inside Polarr Next
- Develop new computational photography features in the web
- Push the boundary of web graphics performances for the industry
You Are:
- Passionate about clean, well documented coding styles.
- Up-to-date with new technologies and frameworks.
- Precise and concise in communication.

- Have worked in the photo tooling / productivity tooling software
