Elementary is looking for a Machine Learning Application Engineer to join our growing team. In this role you will work with customers to understand their quality goals, train and deploy machine learning models, work with them to incorporate new products, analyze and report on the effectiveness of their quality process.

The ideal candidate is one who is passionate about working with cutting edge technology and communicating that to customers with varying degrees of technical experience, understanding of machine learning concepts, effective communication skills via phone and email, and additionally, this candidate should be comfortable working with internal and external technical teams.

Responsibilities

• The primary point of contact for customers bringing their system into production developing relationships with key stakeholders and driving towards successful result
• Drive the Machine Learning process from image collection, labeling, training, deployment and sustaining
• Working with the Data Science and Engineering teams to develop and analyze solution efficacy
• Promote customer satisfaction and loyalty by demonstrating an understanding of their business needs and helping them achieve their objectives using Elementary
• Act as a communications liaison between Technical Support, Data Science, Product and Customers

Required Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent ability to work with customers
• Experience running scripts, specifically Python
• Familiar with Machine Learning concepts
• Ability to analyze data and produce meaningful reports
• Attention to detail
• Fluent in English, spoken and written

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with image analysis
• Experience with AWS tooling
• Ability to create and modify scripts
• Familiar with industrial automation
