The Diamanti Kubernetes Engine team’s mission is to provide a certified foundation for the flexible and secure enterprise-grade platform, which other teams can easily extend with customer-centric features, across all multi-cloud targets, based on the latest K8S releases. We aim to provide a world-class product that can sustain constant change and keep up with customers’ needs at scale, preserving the highest level of security combined with ease of use. Our focus is on providing an excellent developer experience and working closely with our colleagues from other teams and customers.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Serve as our main internal Kubernetes expert for all control plane items related to Diamanti Kubernetes Engine.
• Passion to automate repetitive manual tasks, remove opportunities for human error, find security risks and give feedback to colleagues constructively.
• Collaborate with other teams on architecting, engineering, and optimizing their features info.
• To be successful, you will need to focus your creative energy on collaboration, communication, and producing high-quality deliverables.
• Demonstrated technical background; an engineer at heart with an inner desire to make an impact.
• Debug and troubleshoot our Kubernetes-based cluster application.

Qualifications & Experience:

• BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related discipline and 13 plus industry experience.
• 5+ recent years of experience in commercial multi-cloud applications. Back-end development is a plus.
• 3+ recent years of Kubernetes continuous experience. Production experience is a plus.
• The ideal candidate would have a strong working knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization, solid coding skills, broad knowledge of software development,
• Production experience with Kubernetes.
• Troubleshooting skills that span across applications, networking (TCP/IP), and systems.
• Networking or storage exposure and knowledge of Diamanti Kubernetes Engine and cloud products is a plus.
• Practical experience building K8S infrastructure on a cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.).
• Hands-on development experience in the areas of software upgrades/user management (RBAC/LDAP)/Restful architecture/containers/security.
• Experience in Agile software development methodologies/Scrum and track record with rapid, release cycles.
• Proficiency in the following: Go, Python, bash scripting.
• Intellectual honesty, high courage, low ego, and constant desire to learn, collaborate and help.
• Excellent communication skills required.
