Databook stands at the cutting edge of generative AI, driving a revolution in strategic sales and relationship management with our groundbreaking innovation, DatabookGPT. DatabookGPT represents a significant leap forward, building on the success of our Strategic Relationship Management (SRM) application. This conversational AI sales assistant transforms vast amounts of data into strategic yet actionable insights, empowering sellers to close bigger deals faster.

Databook has been at the forefront of redefining how businesses strategically approach sales and customer engagement at scale. Our original SRM platform set the stage by enabling some of the world's largest B2B sales teams, including Microsoft, Salesforce, Databricks, to manage and nurture strategic relationships effectively. With DatabookGPT, we are pushing the boundaries further, offering advanced AI capabilities that uncover new opportunities and accelerate sales cycles by helping sellers be more relevant to their customers.

We are a Series B company backed by Bessemer Ventures, DFJ Growth, M12 (Microsoft’s Venture fund), Salesforce Ventures and Threshold Ventures. We are a customer-focused, innovative, and collaborative learning organization. We are headquartered in Palo Alto, CA with a distributed team working across the globe.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Director of Product Management, focusing on Partnerships, APIs and Integrations, to join our product team at an exciting time as we launch our new DatabookGPT product. This is an important role, with product partnerships and integrations playing a key part of our overall company strategy. Working with product and engineering leadership, you will help define an integration strategy that delivers value for users, customers and our business, identifying strategic partnerships and product integrations that enhance our product and open up new go-to-market opportunities. You will collaborate with engineering to define and implement product integrations scalably, efficiently and in line with this strategy. You will need to establish relationships with key players in the sales technology ecosystem, to find mutually beneficial partnerships. Just as importantly, you will work closely with customers and users, to prioritize needs for new product integrations and ensure that system integrations are successfully deployed and used by our customers. This will be an individual contributor role, with the potential to build a team as we get traction with DatabookGPT, and it will report to the co-founder and head of product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • In collaboration with product and engineering leadership, define our strategy and roadmap for product partnerships and integrations.
  • Work closely with customers, prospects and users to research their needs, prioritize new integrations for the roadmap, and ensure that the integrations we build can be successfully and repeatably deployed and used.
  • Define requirements and collaborate with engineering and design to efficiently build new features and enhancements.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the sales technology ecosystem to identify new opportunities for partnerships that align with Databook’s product and business goals.
  • Establish and manage relationships with product, technology and channel partners.
  • Define and track key product and business success metrics to understand the impact of product partnerships and integrations.
  • Ensuring that the product integrations that we build can be successfully deployed and used by our customers.

About You

As a small product team working on a new product in a fast-moving environment, we are looking for a Director of Product Management who has enthusiasm for the “zero to one” stage of building products, enjoys taking a hands-on approach to solving problems and can strategically prioritize what’s really impactful. In return, we offer the chance to meaningfully contribute to strategic discussions, quickly see the direct impact of your work, and be part of a collaborative team. We are looking for candidates with:

  • Minimum 8 years in product management at a B2B SaaS company, demonstrating responsibility for owning and delivering strategic initiatives.
  • Strong skills in building relationships and credibility, including with senior executives at customers, prospects and partners.
  • Extensive experience of building and scaling enterprise partnerships and integrations.
  • Technical aptitude to define requirements for scalable and extensible product integrations and APIs, and to work effectively with engineers, designers and product managers at Databook, our customers and our partners.
  • An enthusiasm for working with customers and users, both to understand their needs better and to ensure that new product integrations can be rolled out and used successfully.
  • Experience and enthusiasm for working at an early-stage startup and a willingness to take the initiative and be hands-on where needed.
  • Ability to think strategically and prioritize what is most important to work on, in a fast-moving environment where changes happen often.
  • Knowledge of enterprise sales and the sales technology ecosystem.
