About the role:
As the Senior Technical Writer at CloudZero, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and shaping our documentation strategy. You will be the first technical writer at CloudZero, responsible for creating comprehensive, accurate, and user-friendly technical documentation for our products and services. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact by laying the foundation for documentation practices that will support our growing customer base and enable seamless adoption of our platform.


  • Content Creation: Develop clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation, including user guides, API documentation, release notes, and knowledge base articles.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, sales engineers, and other cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure the accuracy and completeness of documentation.
  • Documentation Strategy: Define and implement documentation standards, templates, and best practices to maintain consistency and improve the overall quality of documentation.
  • User Experience: Advocate for the end user by ensuring documentation is accessible, easy to understand, and addresses user needs and pain points effectively.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to enhance existing documentation and develop new content to support evolving product features and functionality.
  • Documentation Maintenance: Manage updates and revisions to documentation to reflect product changes, enhancements, and bug fixes in a timely manner.
  • Training and Enablement: Collaborate with the customer success team to develop training materials and resources that empower users to maximize the value of CloudZero's platform.
