About the Role

Brightline is on the lookout for a Part-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join our care team. In this role, you will work with our phenomenal Care Team of therapists, other prescribers, and coaches to support our members.

This role is part-time (~20 hours) and hybrid, combining both onsite and virtual care. You'll have the opportunity to provide care in person at Brightline's clinic location, fostering a strong sense of community and connection with other clinicians, while also delivering flexible virtual services. This model offers flexibility while ensuring access to high-quality, member-centered support across both settings.

Primary Responsibilities

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Brightline you will:

  • Deliver both virtual and in-person care (1–2 days per week) at Brightline’s Brooklyn clinic, providing 20 hours of clinical care each week.

  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and manage ongoing medication treatment for children and adolescents.

  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary care team, including therapists and psychologists, to ensure seamless, holistic support for each child or teen’s treatment plan.

  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of session notes, care plans, and progress updates within our electronic health record system.

About You

You will thrive in the role of Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Brightline if you have:

  • An active state New York state license and Board Certification

  • A passion for our mission to redefine behavioral health for children and their families.

  • Expertise in delivering child and teen-focused psychiatric care and medication management.

  • Expertise providing evidence based care (e.g., CBT)

  • Experience in family-centered care models and a warm, engaging clinical style

  • Excellent skills with learning and using new technologies

  • Expertise in providing culturally responsive care

  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) and an ability to share feedback across teams in a collaborative and solution-oriented way

The target compensation for this position ranges from $110 - $140/hour. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including licensure, experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
