About your role:
As a Systems Engineering - Sr Professional I, you will be a crucial member of the team responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Fiserv's complex systems infrastructure. Your expertise will play a significant role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our systems, enabling seamless operations that support our clients' business needs. You will work as part of a collaborative team of professionals committed to excellence in systems engineering and innovation.

What you'll do:

• Lead the design and implementation of systems infrastructure to meet business and client requirements.

• Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Implement and manage upgrades and enhancements to system architecture and infrastructure.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and company policies.

Experience you'll need to have:

• 4+ years of experience in systems engineering

• 2+ years of experience with system design and implementation

• 2+ years of experience with Linux and Windows server environments

• 2+ years of experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V

• 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

• 2+ years of experience with automation tools like Ansible or Terraform

• 2+ years of experience with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell

• 4+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience

Experience that would be great to have:

• Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation

• Certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
