Mail Services Clerk

What does a successful Mail Acceptance Clerk do?

As a Fiserv Mail Acceptance Clerk, we will train you to collect and process all mail, acting as the liaison between USPS and Fiserv. You will work with Postal Clerks to clear all mail, keeping detailed records of all incoming mail and delivering to the company mailboxes.

What you will do:

  • Receive paid training on the job and work in a climate-controlled environment.
  • Prepare online or manual manifests/bill of ladings for vendors, ensuring proper labeling and packaging for outgoing post parcels.
  • Operate Connect Plus meters to meter and document outbound mail
  • Produce mail statements for USPS through Windowbook.
  • Provide back up to Mail Service Assistant (enter postage from meters, pay invoices, request postage, make adjustment to postage statement when necessary).
  • Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and power pallet jacks.
  • Work with associates in team effort to further company goals concerning productivity, safety, quality and Continuous Improvement initiatives.

What you need to have:

  • Proven ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language.
  • Basic computer skills (data entry, PC navigation).
  • Ability to stand 95% of your shift and lift between 20 to 30 pounds.
  • Be able, as it is necessary, to climb, stretch, crouch or kneel.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and time management.

What would be great to have:

  • A high school diploma, equivalent work, or a combination of work, education and military experience.
  • 1 year of Production Experience in High Speed Operation or similar.
  • Use of basic math skills.
  • Forklift/Power Pallet Jack Certifications preferred, but not required.
  • A team player that works well with others but can also work independently.

Important information about this role:

  • Compensation starts at $18/hour.
  • You will work an assigned schedule of: 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm; Monday through Friday.
  • Flexibility in schedule to work required overtime that includes weekends and holidays.

This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, New York, Nevada, Rhode Island or Washington.
