Application Support - Sr Professional II

What does a successful Application Support Professional do at Fiserv?
You will be responsible for the smooth operation, migration, implementation, and maintenance of critical fraud detection applications in clustered production, Disaster Recovery (DR), and CERT environments. You will collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and clients to provide support and resolve operational issues, ensuring our systems are always running optimally.

What you will do:

• Perform application operations activities in clustered production, DR, and CERT environments.

• Migrate clients from other fraud applications to the designated application.

• Implement new clients and ensure successful onboarding.

• Provide support for application and infrastructure patching processes.

• Conduct Disaster Recovery testing and certification to ensure system readiness.

• Investigate operational issues by coordinating with internal development teams and product vendors for timely resolution.

• Monitor and maintain application health, including running health checks at defined frequencies.

• Lead production issue calls to promptly address system outages or performance problems.

What you will need to have:

• 6 years of experience in application support or a related field in a Linux environment.

• 4 years of experience with Virtual, Production, Disaster Recovery (DR), and CERT environments.

• 2 years of proven ability to manage client migrations and implement new clients successfully.

• 4 years of experience in application and infrastructure patching processes.

• 1+ years of proficiency in Disaster Recovery testing and certification.

• 1+ years of current Fiserv experience.

What would be great to have:

• Experience with fraud detection applications.

• Knowledge of best practices in application health monitoring and maintenance.

• Familiarity with vendor coordination and log analysis.

• Proactive mindset with the ability to stay current with technological advancements.

• Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve system performance problems.

• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve operational issues in a timely manner.
