TEAM & ROLE
As an Mid Market Account Executive, you’ll be responsible for developing strategic relationships, demonstrating the ability to quickly grow a high-value pipeline, and closing new business. We're seeking someone well-versed in B2B tech sales. You should have a knack for swiftly navigating multithreading strategies, including QBRs, travel, and proactive business development within your book of business.
The ideal candidates aren't just good; they thrive on the excitement of the hunt, embracing a consultative approach that delves deep into prospects' needs. Your role will be cross-functional, involving collaboration with Engineering, Account Management, Sales Development, Marketing, Ops, and Product teams.
We're still a young team, so each member plays an integral role in building the foundation of our future sales organization!
WHAT YOU’LL DO AT Benepass
- Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including participating in RFPs from prospective customers
- Selling to directors and VP-level executives and navigating through multiple decision-makers in complex organizations to secure buy-in
- Engage and build relationships with multiple stakeholders within client organizations
- Act cross-functionally with Marketing and Partnerships to uncover new lead sources
- Skillfully delivering web-based (Zoom) and in-person presentations by leveraging strong product knowledge and sales best practices
- Working closely with a team of BDRs to provide strategic direction and feedback
- Be a strategic advisor and provide consultative guidance on Benepass and industry best practices as customers build and scale their applications
ABOUT YOU
- You are entrepreneurial and a self-starter. Whatever the challenge, you have an aptitude for figuring it out
- You have a track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets
- You’re super power is the ability to simplify complicated topics
- You’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves and work cross-functionally with teams, including product development and customer success, to ensure seamless client onboarding and satisfaction
- You’re passionate about staying informed about industry trends and market dynamics
REQUIREMENTS
- 3 - 5 years of sales experience particularly in SaaS markets selling B2B
- 2+ years of SaaS closing experience
- Experience of success (top 10% of sales org)
- Experience selling HRIS/HCM software and/or selling security-related products
- Demonstrated ability to navigate and close deals with mid-market and enterprise clients
- Must be located in the SF/Bay Area or have the ability to commute into the city 3 days a week

COMPENSATION
- Base: $85,000 - $105,000
- OTE: $170,000 - $205,000 ***Uncapped commission
- Equity
Range(s) is subject to change. Benepass takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including your expectations, how you interview, peer compensation, and years of experience. We also look at the market data using Pave (Option Impact).
While we are a 100% US Remote company some roles might require you to live in a certain state and or geographic location.
